England Golf - Growing The Game

England Golf’s County Academy Programme is now operating successfully in 32 counties – a good time to bring all its coaching staff and volunteers together.
- To develop the guiding principles of the programme
- to share experience and pool ideas
- to provide expertise and support in the various facets of the training programme.

Key note speaker: Henry Brunton, National Coach of Canada. Besides coaching the National Team, Henry is a pioneer in performance coaching running junior and elite programmes at several venues around Canada. An author of ‘Journey to Excellence’, Henry will share his thoughts on the role of the Coach in developing the future stars. For more details on Henry see www.henrybrunton.com

England Golf Partnership extends a warm invitation to everyone contributing to the County Academy Programme. Secretaries, Lead coaches and officials in each county are requested to forward this invitation to their coaches, volunteer coaches and organisers. Members of County Academy Committees and county officers are most welcome. Coaches not currently associated with the County Academy Programme but interested in its work are also welcome.

The venue is easily reached by road (M42 Junction 6) or by rail to Birmingham International station. The highly subsidised attendance fee is £15 for County Academy Coaches and £25 for those not associated with a County programme, payable by CC upon registration.
