Coach for Henry Brunton Golf

Cory Southon, a native of Thunder Bay, ON, is a PGA Member, National award winner with the PGA of Canada and five year veteran member of the Henry Brunton Golf Coaching Staff.  Cory is a graduate of Lakehead University (BA) as well as Humber College's Professional Golf Management Program (PGM). Cory has distinguished himself as one of the best junior golf coaching specialists in Canada.  In 2015 he was awarded the Moe Norman Award through the PGA of Canada given to the top candidate for membership as well as being named an honorable mention for the US Kids top 50 award.   

He is the Lead Coach for the award winning Henry Brunton Golf New Competitive Golfer Program and Junior Summer Camps. In addition, he plays an integral coaching role with the Strive for Excellence player development program including elite training camps conducted in Florida. 
Cory is an outstanding player - finishing medalist at the 2011 PGA of Canada Apprentice Qualifying Tournament as well as many posting many other strong amateur and professional results. Cory combines his love and passion for playing the game with helping other improve and succeed. He excels in ongoing professional development and specialized training. In addition to completing his PGA of Canada training, he has earned certifications with US Kids Golf; Titleist Club Fitting; TrackMan as well as the Certified Golf Coaches Association. 

Cory is an outstanding individual and highly trained modern golf coach. Students of all ages are sure to enjoy his warm personality and genuine interest in helping them reach their goals.
