As I say over and over there is only one place that success comes before work - the dictionary!!
I am in the midst of gathering end of season performance and improvement information for the golfers with whom I work. It is exciting and encouraging to see what people are capable of achieving.
Congrats to everyone who has worked diligently with focus to improve and move forward with their golf.
If you want to explore your limits in golf - don't pretend - put your full effort into being the best you want to be!

World Golf Teachers Hall of Fame Member Dr. Gary Wiren from North Palm Beach, FL visited Eagles Nest this week. He gave an outstanding presentation to a group of enthuasiastic golfers and local PGA Professionals. He showed without question why he is one of the most outstanding golf educators and teachers ever. His knowledge, passion for the game and enthusiasm to share with others is unmistakeable.
Gary Wiren is more than just a great teacher - he is a great person and a phenomenal athlete. He wowed the crowd showing his flexibility and strength -incedible for a man who will celebrate his 75th birthday this fall. I had the opportunity to watch him hit balls and collect the data on TrackMan. Dr. Wiren has an amazing 111 MPH of clubhead speed and 162 MPH of ball speed - PGA Tour average - 300 yard shots are common for him!! He may well be the best 75 year old golfer in the world!
Dr. Wiren is a model for PGA Professionals - he is first class person who is a life long learner. As well, he is a model for all people - he is a true inspiration. Thanks Gary - keep showing us the way!!

Hello everyone. It has been a very hectic period over the past several weeks. I've been supporting athletes at several major events. It didn't leave any time for blogging. I'm back on the job- I plan to post at least two entries a week going forward.
I just got back from the US Am at Chambers Bay GC near Seattle, Washington. If you get a chance check out the course on TV this weekend. It is unique and bizarre- minimal pesticides and maintenance - 7700 yards - ball bounces unpredictably - totally different than any US course used for major championships. Is the USGA is making a statement with Chambers Bay - site of the 2015 US Open? Is this going to be how we see championship golf played in the future? What are your thoughts?
