Matt Wilson is one of Canada's leading young golf coaches. A native of Toronto and a graduate of Long Island University, Matt is a PGA Professional who is quickly making his mark as a specialized junior golf coach. He had an outstanding inaugural season with Henry Brunton Golf in 2011, earning an Honorable Mention to the 2011 U.S. Kids Golf Top 50 Kids Teachers list.  
  
Matt came to Henry Brunton Golf following successful stints as a PGA Teaching Professional in Michigan and Texas. During his tenure at LIU, Matt was the Captain of the Men's Golf Team (NCAA DI), was an All-Northeast Conference First Team Selection, LIU Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and was named to ESPN: The Magazine's All-Academic Team. 
  
Having competed at the NCAA Division I level, PGA Section Events and Professional Mini-Tours, Matt draws from his competitive experience as a coach.  Matt is the lead coach for the "Little Stars" and "New Competitive Golfer" programs with Henry Brunton Golf. As well, he has a key role with "Strive for Excellence" - he  provides athletes with pre-event preparation-taking athletes to practice rounds whenever possible, support in competition-being on site at tournaments as well as regular play with players to teach and reinforce effective game management and scoring skills. Matt is also available for private coaching for adult golfers. Students of all ages and abilities are sure to benefit from his passion to help others improve and enjoy the game.
