Kyle Paquette, CPGA

Brunton Golf Kyle
Paquette is a rising star in the area of golf performance training. Kyle has
been an apprentice member of the Canadian PGA for the past six years. He brings
with him a wealth of teaching experience and coaching knowledge. For the past
five years, he has been a teaching professional in Sudbury, Ontario at the
Idylwylde Golf and Country Club. During his tenure up North, Kyle also worked
as a coach for the Laurentian University men’s golf team. Kyle was named
“Teacher of the Year” by the Northern Ontario PGA for 2008 and 2009, as well as
“Assistant of the Year” for 2008. In
addition, Kyle has expertise in the field of sport psychology. He is currently
working on a PhD specializing in sport psychology and coach development at the University
of Ottawa, and is a student member of the Canadian Sport Psychology
Association. He is also the sport psychology specialist for the Golf
Association of Ontario’s provincial team athletes. Kyle’s work focuses
primarily on enhancing athletes’ understanding of their learning environment
and creating individual strategies to optimize their competitive performance. |
