Junior Camps and Clinics at Bathurst Glen Golf Course


Henry Brunton Golf is an industry leader in junior golf coaching and player development aligned with the CN Future Links Site and Golf Association of Ontario (GAO) Certified Golf Development Centre as well as TPI. We offer the following high-quality golf coaching programs for juniors at Bathurst Glen Golf Course in Richmond Hill. These programs align with the Golf Canada Long-Term Athlete Developmental Model. All youths interested in sports are encouraged to participate as these programs are fun and fast-paced! Spring and Summer Programs 

Program #1 - Active Start Program for Kids Ages 5-7 

June Dates Now available 

This is an outstanding age appropriate program for kids ages 5-7 interested in exploring golf.  Students will learn golf skills and fundamental athletic movements in a dynamic and fun environment.  No experience or equipment is necessary.

  • Innovative four-week program for boys and girls ages 5-7
  • SNAG and TPI SMASH system equipment utilized
  • 6:1 athlete/coach ratio maximum
  • All participants will have the opportunity to be fitted for US Kids Clubs **please do not purchase equipment before consulting with us**
  • Program tuition - $149 plus HST

Program #2 - CN FutureLinks Clinics for Kids Ages 8-13- 

Fun and effective golf skills development program for kids ages 8-13.  Participants will be very active throughout this program, establishing solid fundamentals and getting the opportunity to practice with feedback and guidance from coaches.  Lots of ball hitting!!

  • Four-week program for boys and girls focusing on developing swing fundamentals and ball striking skills
  • 6:1 athlete-to-coach maximum ratio
  • High quality learning opportunity led by PGA Professional Fred Davey
  • Fun and exciting for kids
  • Includes a gift certificate for free round of golf at Bathurst Glen - $39 value!!

Program #3: Henry Brunton Golf Junior Camp - Canada's 

leading golf camp for boys and girls ages 7-13

Industry leading full day golf program.  Offered weekly throughout school vacation in the summer.  Dynamic and fun program for kids.  They learn the fundamentals of golf and how to play the game.  They learn and practice golf skills in the morning followed by a nutritious lunch.  Then they play 9 holes supervised by a coach in the afternoon.

  • Weeks offered for 2013 include: July 2-5th (4 day week), July 8-12th, July 15-19th, July 22-26th, August 6-9th (4 day week), 12-16th, 19-23th and 26-30th.
  • No experience or equipment necessary
  • Full-day program: drop off at 8:30am and pick up at 3:30pm. Early drop off and late pick up arrangements are available for $10.00 a day.
  • Participants learn to play golf through morning skills development and on course play and coaching after lunch every afternoon. Green fees included in tuition.
  • Daily Schedule: 8:30-9:00am dynamic warm up, 9:00-10:30am skills training, 10:30-11:00am snack, 11:00-12:00 skills training, 12:00-12:45pm lunch, 1:00-3:30pm 9 holes on course. 
  • Fun and active program.
  • Nutritious lunches and snacks included (Mon: Wraps, Tues: Chicken & Veal Sandwiches, Weds: Homemade Pizza. Thurs: Pasta with meatballs, Friday: Burgers and Sausages,  Snacks include vegetables, fruit and muffins). 
  • 6:1 golfer-to-coach maximum ratio. Led by Cory Southon, PGA of Canada as well as his excellent, well-trained coaching staff
  • Camp celebration and awards on Friday afternoon
  • Gift certificate for a free round of golf - $39 value!!
  • Program tuition - $399 + HST ($450.87 total)
  • Program tuition for four day weeks (July 2-5 & Aug 6-9) - $319 + HST ($360.47 total)

Special Note - Course Access at Bathurst Glen Golf Course
Golf course and practice facility access can be an issue for young golfers. Our partners at Bathurst Glen Golf Course in Richmond Hill and the Toronto Region Conservation Authority are model supporters of youth development. All 2013 Henry Brunton Golf Junior Program participants may play Bathurst Glen for a special green fee of $25 for 18 holes or $20 for 9 holes or play free anytime after 3pm if accompanied by a paying adult. In addition, Henry Brunton Junior Program participants may purchase practice balls at the Bathurst Glen practice range for a special discounted price of $10 for a large bucket.
