From May to October, Eagles Nest Golf Club is home to all of Henry Brunton Golf's world-class coaching programs.
Eagles Nest Golf Club Maple, Ontario Eagles Nest Golf Club is an upscale public course opened in 2004 to rave reviews. Designed by Doug Carrick, Eagles Nest is a championship layout emulating a highland links and features rugged sand dunes, pot and sod wall bunkers, fescue, expansive waste bunkers, lots of length, large, firm undulating greens and unpredictable breezes.
"I think it is maybe my best work," states Carrick. That's an impressive statement considering his other Ontario masterpieces–Angus Glen, Osprey Valley, King Valley, Copper Creek, Legends on the Niagara/Battlefield–to name just a few. With plenty of length (7,421 yards from the tips), large dunes lining many of the holes, and 1.4 million cubic yards of earth moved, this is golf on a grand scale. The Toronto skyline serves as a distant backdrop for the 9th hole, while the long 17th hole presents a divided fairway and closely guarded green.
