![]() Henry Brunton Royal Canadian Golf Association's First Head Golf Coach As Head Coach of Canada'a National Amateur Golf Team, Henry Brunton is guided by the mission of Canada's governing body–the Royal Canadian Golf Association (RCGA). The RCGA Player Development Program is designed to facilitate the development of Canada's most promising young golfers by providing them with the finest coaching, training, competition and support services possible. The overall objective of the program is to develop true "champions"–both on and off the golf course. Brunton has always been at the forefront in the development of Canadian golfers. Since 1999 when the program was conceived, Henry has run the National Player Development Program which has been extremely successful. Henry plans to continue work in this capacity until the goal of making Canada a consistent force in international competitions is achieved.Thanks to Henry's innovative coaching techniques, Canada continues to earn high marks on the international stage with a Silver medal performance against more than 70 teams at the World Amateur in South Africa in October 2006.
